Christmas presents for Hinchingbrooke Hospital’s Holly Ward

One of the annual events for the Mayor of Huntingdon is a visit to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, on Christmas Eve, to give presents to the children staying in the Holly Ward and Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) over Christmas. Sadly, this can not happen this year for obvious reasons, any present gifted must be unwrapped and quarantined for 72 hours before they are given to any child in hospital.
With staff from Holly Ward
So today, I met up with Zoe and members of the team from Holly Ward and delivered presents to be handed out on Christmas Day. I was sad that I could not meet with the children and families, but I know there will be some happy faces on Christmas morning and that is what is important.
