Christmas presents for the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU)

I was back at Hinchinbrooke Hospital earlier to meet up with Sarah and Amanda, from the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU), to drop off some presents for any babies that will be at the SCBU over Christmas.

The SCBU can accommodate up to 10 babies that need specialist care; this can be stressful for the babies as well as their families, now more than ever. I want to thank all the members of staff that care for these children, they do an amazing job and I know it is appreciated by everyone who has spent time in the SCBU.
In normal times, I would be making my visit on Christmas Eve and spend time with the children, parents, and staff; but I did not want anyone to go without, so it was good to meet up with Sarah and Amanda to make sure these gifts can go into quarantine in time for Christmas Day.
