Presentation of gifts from Huntingdon Argos to Dreamdrops

A busy afternoon today. I went to the Stukeley Meadows Argos store for some socially distanced presentations to Dreamdrops, Huntingdonshire Children’s charity. Following covid guidelines, we were able to carry out some socially distanced presentations of toys and money from Kirsty and the team at Argos in an eerily empty store (it has now ceased trading on the industrial estate).

A surprise presentation also took place. Last night at the Hunts Forum AGM, Christine was the Gold winner of the ‘David Morgan Rural Volunteer of the Year’, an outstanding achievement and very well deserved. Christine was presented her certificate, and with flowers from Anne-Marie to thank her for the work she has done over the year, well done Christine.

As Dreamdrops are my charity during my term of office, I also presented Anne-Marie with some sensory toys to go with the donations collected over the past months.
